Ask some clever questions, so the interviewer knows you are a serious candidate:

  • What is a career path that I could take should I accept this role?

  • Why is this job available, why did the predecessor leave? Promotion / Termination or Resignation? 

  • Where is this business going in the next 3 years? What is it’s vision and goals for future direction?

  • What benefits do they offer their employees?

  • What makes your salon/spa the best to work for?

  • How many applicants have you for this role?

  • Who would I directly report to?

  • What is your trial period? And notice period during this trial period?

  • Do you have a job description for me to view?

  • Do you have performance reviews in place, if so how often?

  • What is the Induction process your spa/salon offers new employees?

  • What are your ongoing training and development commitments?

  • What are the expected rosters/ shifts for this role?
