Start by Formulating a Fab 'Functional' CV - 2 of 3:
There is no need to put references – do this at interview stage, if you re short listed ensure you have informed your references and have their details should you be asked at the interview.
Do not include personal details for such as height, weight, DOB, marital status, nationality, religion, gender, place of birth and certainly do not mention salary expectation or any other type of financial information. This information is not required when applying for any type of position.
Most certainly – do not mention or discuss your weaknesses, your CV is not the time nor place to be marketing your weaknesses.
A Functional CV is most effective when tailored to a particular industry like the hair and beauty industry. It is
the most widely accepted style of CV and is considered the ultimate designer format, limited only by
your ability to select, organise and prioritise information.

A 10 year history is sufficient - employment prior to that can be simplified into a sentence ie: prior to studying within the Aesthetics industry, I worked in various PA/Secretarial positions for various corporate firms”
Sort your experience into common informative areas such as
Sales, Management, Initiatives, Leadership, Training, Project Management, Therapy Skills & Technical Skills.
Leave all non-industry related information unless it display's
relevance to the role you are applying for ie: You are applying for a HR Managers role for a large multi-site Spa, and you have HR experience.
What are intangible strengths you ask? They are personal opinions ie: good communicator, enjoy being part of a team, high work standards and ethics,
What are tangible strengths? The are factual. i.e: over 10 years in
